All have a chance to win a round there!

John Isner hasn't matched up to his explosive professional start recently. Niland took a set off him last week.

Baker really really really needs to beat Oudesma.

Come on Boggo!

Not too bad, I think. But Bloomers's draw could have been better.

It's ok, Boggo should make the quarters if the injury is better, particularly as this is indoors.

Indoors/grass is probably best surface for him to play Michael Russell on...(they could meet in quarters), Russell has no big weapons, just runs all day and makes no errors. He started 2007 on fire, took Hewitt to five sets in the AO, won two challengers and made rd4 of Indian Wells. He's beaten Berdych, Cilic, Garcia-Lopez, Gicquel, Almagro, this year.

Hopefully it'll be an all-British rd2 tie...Jamie beat Oudsema 4&3 in Hawaii earlier this year. Jamie really needs some wins and this is as good a rd1 match as he could hope for, Oudsema's made a couple of challenger quarters this year but not done much more.

You have to fancy Isner indoors but he's had some surprising defeats since US Open so who knows

This isn't exactly similar to the indoor tournaments of Europe. It's played on Decoturf, so it's like an US Open Series match with a roof over your head. Boggo will need to be at his best to beat Russell.

ah, so basically a cheating version of an indoor challenger. Hmmmm, Russell will be tough to stop here then, both his challenger titles in the spring were on decoturf

incidentally, what would we regard as Boggo's best match ever in the US ?

The win over Delic in IW qualies this year ?

Jamie is the only Brit in action Monday! - in both Singles and Doubles (with Kuznetsov) vs (1)Fisher/Huss ashamed

So presumedly Rich and Alex will play Tuesday - Rich is also in doubles with Michael Ryderstedt as partner vs. USA W/Cs - Ryderstedt plays Russell in singles Monday!

The win against Dabul in the quarters of the USO Juniors in 2001. wink.gif

Jamie plays at 1 P.M. local time, so we won't need to stay up late to follow it.

The match before Jamie's has finished. The website is doing set by set scoring.
