Week 43 - Barnstaple 25K + H Challenger 2007.

Eaton and Allinson! w00t.gif Turn up for the books!!!

2 points for that. More than they usually score in a futures tournament!
Glad to see Bloomers get a win. Well done to Marcus.

cry.gif at Evans' draw.

COME ON BOGGO!!!!!!!!!!

clap.gifclap.gifI thought Eaton had a chance of qualifying so very happy about that one! Also Allinson did great, shame he starts against Boggo as my loyalties lie firmly with the Bogman on that one.

Evans did pretty well though I would have liked to see him push Recouderc a bit harder, but always knew it would be wishful thinking.

Bravo to Willis, he had about the kindest draw possible. Who's up next? (Any chance he could reach the quarters?!!)

Good to see Bloomers get the first win under his belt as well. smile.gif

Either the Irishman (???), Louk Sorensen [274], or the Belgian fourth seed, Steve Darcis [113], so unlikely, I'd have thought, though I'd love to be proved wrong... wink

For info Dan Cox is on a training week prior to going to the US thats why he is not playing here.

Some good dubs matches coming up....

Would be great if Pauffley / Willis could beat Prpic/Ryderstedt....

Good win for Rushby with Fischer...who could play Goodall / Skupski or Jamie Delgado / Moser in R2.

Yes, Cox trains this week and next but he doesn't have tourneys in the US before 26th Nov unless he plays Futures there.

Actually him playing so little men's tennis this year may not be so bad a thing. Next year he'll have little to defend and will be able to go up the rankings fast.

Anyone know what Josh plans to do next week? I hope that he'll attempt qualies in Aachen as he could get a good seeding in it.

Kristian Pless (Den) bt Jan Vacek (Cze) 6-3 6-4

Jeremy Chardy (Fra) bt Stefano Galvani (Ita) 6-3 6-4

Steve Darcis (Bel) bt Louk Sorensen (Irl) 7-5 6-0

None of them good from a British point of view.

Yes bad news..

Boggo actually withdrew prior to his match due to injury and was then replaced in the draw by Fischer [LL].  cry

And here's the rest of todays results:

Fischer Def. Edward Allinson 6-4 6-1

Lukas Rosol Def. Andreas Beck 7-6[6] 4-6 7-6[3]

Stephane Bohli Def. Michael Ryderstedt 4-6 6-3 7-5

Grrr... Allinson beat Fischer in qualies and lost to him here. Why couldn't it be the other way round????

I hope that Boggo is all right. cry.gif
