Allinson didnt drop a set in the qualies, inc handing out a bagel to Ward, ok its a tough one vs Boggo, but he can go into that match with no pressure knowing that he has nothing to lose.
Minar hasnt been setting the world on fire recntly, has a back injury too. pretty good draw for eaton, but still tough.

Not suprised at Allinsons results. He'll always trouble higher ranked players cos he can go through periods where hes unplayable but then times when hes ordinary.
Well done to Willis and Bloomers on winning their main draw matches, and well done to Eaton and Allinson for qualifying (and with Ed getting Boggo, it means at least 3 Brits will make round 2, which is better than we've had in the past)
Eaton and Allinson probably get themselves a WC for the next futures as well (they should do after qualifying here), which will help them along.
Will be a good test for Boggo, as Ed looks to be serving brilliantly this week by the scores he's had, and even though Boggo is big favourite, I can this one going to 3 sets if Ed's serve is working and he can sneak a TB
Can Someone try and explain to me why Aisam Ul haq Quershi is playing doubles but not singles? He's ranked around 150 so would have been 4th seed. He has done this before aswell in America earlier this year.

He didnt enter and so would have had to qualify - I guess he didnt leave Denmark in time.
We won half of one & lost one in the doubles: Tom Rushby & Martin Fischer (AUT) beat Ivan Dodig & Sander Groen (BIH/NED) 6-7(4) 6-3 [10-5] , but Ed Allinson & Neil Bamford lost to the Dutch top seeds, Jasper Smit & Martijn van Haasteren 3 & 1 .
