Baker, Henman and Bloomers's Live Ranking During Week 42

The New Table is posted here (on britishtennis.net)

Tim reached the third round in Madrid last year, which means he loses 75 points as the week begins, and drops to 246: just below Jamie's table and just above Richard's. So I thought it best to combine the three of them in the one (long) table.

With Tim dropping down, that makes Jamie Baker the

New British number three!
Jamie's not defending points this week, so starts it by climbing three places to 225: Tim, Srichaphan and Joachim Johansson drop behind.

Richard's not defending any points either:  he climbs two to 266 as Johansson and Dodig drop back.


Jan Minar, Recouderc, Bozoljac, Zeballos and Zampieri also drop places.

Alan;s defending 4 points, and drops down towards Lee and Jonny into the mid 400s.

Jamie's result is not in either, however Chardy won in Andreszieux and overtakes him for now. Jamie down to 227 tears.gif

No update this morning: Freewebs is "undergoing maintenance".

Bloomers drops a place to 266 as Gensse sneakily gets into the Bogota draw without either me or Madeline noticing, and then wins hir first match furious.gif

Jamie's loss means that he stays behind Chardy, Gimeno etc... frustrating as Gimeno very kindly lost in Bogota, so that Jamie could have overtaken cry.gif

A sea of red behind Jamie and Tim as Ram, Miranda, Sweeting, Lammer, Dorsch, Quintero and Mazarakis all lose. THis means Jamie stays at 227.

Menendez and Haider Maurer are the only two to win behind Jamie, in  the France and GB futures respectively.

More red behind Bloomers as Wilson, Sorensen and Villar lose.

Bellucci plays Prodon in Bogota.
