Shame about Richard as he's going to slip further back after losing another chunk of points. Great stuff for Josh though, 2nd 15K final in the past month
You'd have to back him to take the title now but Chramosta is always dangerous in these British futures, despite being only ranked down in the 500s he always does well in them. He's taken out the 2nd and 3rd seeds this week, both top 300 players.
Josh beat him in Czech Republic last Dec when Chramosta retired after losing 1st 6-4.
Thanks for the scores and match info sd51rby, will you be there again today ?
Good win for Josh, who looks to be finding his form again, and if he gets a good draw next week then he could do well and make sure he gets back in the top 300, and possibly the top 250, which should be his aim for the end of the year
I've been speaking to someone on MTF who went all week to this....
he says that Chramosta was playing at an incredible level and that Dan Cox was very impressive Against Stoppini he was really troubling him (though Stoppini was injured during that one) and he also looked good against Goodall. Goodall said afterwards that he thought Cox played incredibly well.
I'm going to ask him about some more of the matches
