Afraid you are correct - website says - "The four players qualified for the Main draw are now known.
They are the French Thomas Oger, Adrian Mannarino, Sebastien de Chaunac and Jean-Christophe Faurel."

Don't know scores yet.

After such a great performance there last year Richard now fails to qualify! cry.gif Also, as no.1 Lugassy failed no chance of LL if one arose.

rich really seems to be struggling recently, do you have nay ideas why? has he tried to chnage his game and it just not working? is he carrying an injury at all?

The alst decent win he had was against boggo back in surbs, but really he ahsnt had that many good wins, i think boggo is the only top 200 guy he has beaten.

apart from wrexham right at the start he hasnt manged to put a run togther at a challenegr this year :(

loosk like boggo lost :( 3/6 7/6 6/4.

i wonder what that TB score was. i really though alex would win, having beaten smeets twice this year, maybe smeets is a better indoor player??

this was a greta week for him to pick up points as he missed it last year too.

Really disappointed in Richards defeat.
Since getting up int the 170's he's
slipped back and his results of late
don't inspire you to think he can ever make
it to the top 100.

Ouch thats not good...Richard really should be beating the likes of Faurel especially indoors...he needs to make hay at this time of the year. Having made semis last year that'll be a bit of a blow ranking-wise....

Big week for him in Glasgow coming up, he won the title last year

I don't get it either, he looked really good at Wimby and did so well in the indoor season last year even under the pressure of having lots of points to defend. I guess it must be a confidence thing, but with 30 points due to come off in 2 weeks time (that Futures win and a Challenger QF), he could be quite a bit outside the top 300 by the end of this month, which would be a travesty.

Boggo score was 3-6 7-6(4) 6-4.

Bloomers score was 6-7(8) 6-3 4-6.

James/Ross vs Jamie doubles is Tuesday, Rich must be Wednesday as they only have 2 courts.
Interesting video indicates that court was build complete for tournament.

i think alex is really upset with himslef for that loss, he knows it was a great chance thsi week.

He is at andreiux next week, at 125k, but defeinding 14 points from a QF at kilding last year. hopefulyl a loss like that will spur him on, unlike the other 2 which were loses to top players.

Terrible day for the Brits there, with Bloomers losing in qualifying, and it just hasn't happened for him since the start of the year, and he is going to have to find some wins from somewhere or he will be out of the top 300 and back down having to play futures every week

Disappointing loss for Boggo though, who appears to have taken a step backwards this year and hasn't progressed as he should have done, although the injuries have played a part in that. He should be beating the likes of Smeets easily, and it just isn't happening at the moment

What do people think about him stepping down to play futures for a couple of weeks to get some confidence behind him, and few wins, and hopefully 36 points after winning 2 events, which should get him back in the top 130 and within range to make ATP cuts and be highly seeded in challengers again

i cant see alex dropping back to futures.

i have no idea why he lost to smeets, he has already beaten him twice this year, i guess just one of those days. although perhaps we underestimated smeets as he seems to be improving; he has won 4 futures and a challenegr this year (lubbock USA a few weeks ago)

since his return he had lost to two top 100 players, and had good wins over mulllr and gremelmayr so its not all gloom, also he was playing really well earlier in the year around spring/early summer, and on the grass with the tight match v a-rod then the mixed dubs wimby QF.

i think he will struggle to get a DE to the AO now, but hopfully he can end the year in a decent position in the low 100's, and as he has few points to defend at the start of the new year make a decent assult on the top 100.
