So its the Argentinian who stands between Murray and the final.
Canas is 30 next month but has had a great year as we all know reaching a high of 14 in the rankings.
4 of his singles titles have come on clay and thats his best surface. He won on Clay this year and he may see this another opportunity to add another title.
Canas is no mug and like Murray got to number 8 in the world at one point. Murray has to game to beat Canas if he plays to his best. Lets hope he does.
This is a good chance for Murray to win a tournament here really, as he is probably the best indoor player left in the tournament.
Canas has not been in great form in the last few months, and struggled in his first couple of matches here, so Murray has a shot at beating him, but Canas will be difficult to break down, so the Murray serve will probably be crucial in this match
yay, its up!!! here we go people, i get the feeling this is the kind of week we have been waiting for with andy since May. If he knocks over Canas he's probably favourite for the title, but he has to toppe his possible DC foe first. I have nothing better to do so il so some scoring
Canas gets the first game (on his serve) but Andy took it to deuce a couple of times. Andy's playing well, his trademark returns and anticipation both working well, now just have to see what the serve's doing!
