Yay! Five full weeks of Andy (with luck and no more injuries!)
Looking at the entry list... Andy has to be the favourite to take the title here, as all the top players are not those who you would really think are great indoor players (although Robredo and Canas can play on most surfaces)... Clement and Wawrinka are the danger men in round 1 though
Anyone found the 'English' button on their website?

Nope. You don't expect the French to be helpful, do you?
Why should they? Does Wimbledon offer a French-language version? No, yet the French Open is available in English & Spanish as well as French. Metz probably can't afford it: translation, be it good or bad, does not come cheap! That said, there is a live scoreboard, which is currently showing the scores in the qualies, & that's in English: just click on the orange triangle in the top left-hand corner.

The courts in Metz are very quick, suiting someone like Tipsarevic who relishes the ball coming on to him fast and although he should win, Murray won't be particularly pleased with this draw. Last time they met was at Queens 2006 when Tipsarevic won 7-6, 3-6, 6-2.
Murray will definately have to up his level from the Davis Cup where he was too passive, allowing Marin Cilic to dictate most of the rallies and came dangerously close to going 2 sets to love down. The most promising aspects of his two matches that weekend were the serving, which kept him in the 2nd set against Cilic and his forehand which looked much more potent than at the US Open
Tipsarevic has shot up the rankings in the past year, now up to 52. Although he can be very hit and miss (which will probably limit how far he can go rankings-wise and in the big tournaments), at his best he's capable of hitting anyone off the court and so is always a dangerous opponent. Among his scalps this year are Lleyton Hewitt (Indian Wells), Gael Monfils (Zagreb), Marat Safin (French Open) and Fernando Gonzalez (Wimbledon). Wimbledon has been his highlight of 2007, with that epic 5 setter against Gonzalez in the 3rd round (which Tipsarevic clinched 8-6 in the 5th) before falling to Ferrero.
If Andy gets past Tipsy.....should make quarters, Llodra will beat Eschauer but he shouldn't be a problem for Andy who loves playing serve-volleyers as we know.
I reckon Tsonga will make the quarters and that would be very interesting....Tsonga-Wawrinka is an intriguing rd1 match, I think Tsonga has the better serve which will give him the edge there....I'd pick Kohlschreiber to come through on a slower surface
he would have had to make semis though to defend his Mons pts...and with the likes of Federer in it ! Mind you, given how ridiculously strong Mons is...he might have had more chance of gaining pts in Tokyo
seriously though, it's too far to go for just 1 tourney...if Alex would only have considered it if he was playing Bejing and Bangkok too
