Zovko was pretty good at Wimbledon (Davis Cup) no?


Zovko was slightly overawed by the occasion (Davis Cup) last weekend & took a while to find his feet, IMHO.  That said, I have no reservations about his teaming up with Delgo again & their first-round encounter with Dupuis & Elseneer is third on Court 2 tomorrow (after a men's singles & another doubles), with play starting at noon BST.

Great to see Boggo win, hopefully the confidence that first win inspires is enough to see him through a few more rounds.

Is there any news on the doubles result?

Not that I can see:  there's nowt on the ATP site that ain't on the Grenoble site (or vice versa) & the latter ain't exactly a tennis fan's dream for up-to-date results! hmm  Not showing up on ATP live scores, either! angered.gif

And they play again today (the German pairing of Denis Gremelmayr & Philipp Marx), at 13.00 BST on the same court, while Boggo takes on Gilles Muller (LUX) not before 14.00 BST on the centre court.  Fingers crossed for one & all... pray.gif please.gif

MTF say Boggo beat Gilles Muller 7:6(6) 6:4 - great news if true biggrin - although lower-ranked than the Bogster now, Muller is a very good player.
