at hewitt beating Bloomers, I hope that's just a really bad day and the office and not an injury.
Good to see that neither Goodall nor Baker slipped up against their opponents and baring a disaster on Baker's side we should get an all-british final.

I'd love to know what happened in that match. Bloomers probably had a stinker or maybe an illness or injury, but if he (Bloomers) played reasonably well, then it'll be quite exciting to see where Tim can go from here.
Fantastic result there for Hewitt. Glad to see a youngster taking a chance after seeing so many players leaving us.
Interesting looking at the doubles and Bains/Feaver should have said they could of played as their victors through walkover Uebel/Van Der Merwe didnt turn up for their quarters anyway.
All-British final !!!! First time this has happened since last September when Jamie beat Jonny Marray in this tourney ?
Jamie beat Fischer 6-4, 7-5
Josh beat Tim Hewitt 6-1, 6-2
Great to see Josh in a 15K final, should push him up big time....super results from Hewitt though, he's at his best when there's no pressure on him which was certainly the case in all his matches this week....Jamie has defended the lions share of this week's pts
Interesting developments today. Can't believe no one's reported on them yet: Jamie B (1) beat Martin Fischer 4 & 5 & Goody (7) thrashed Tim Hewitt 1 & 2 to give us an all-Brit singles final. Divided loyalties there tomorrow...
Goody was, however, unable to repeat the trick in the doubles: he & Tom Rushby (1) lost to Junaid & King-Turner (3) 6-0 4-6 [8-10]! Close, but not close enough! On the other hand, we shall be represented, as David Brewer & Ian Flanagan beat Fischer & Philipp Oswald 4 & 2!
* All in all, not a good day for Martin Fischer...
It's a Jamie B and Josh final. Jamie beating Fischer 6-4 7-5 and Goody seeing off Tim 6-1 6-2. It's been a while since there has been an all-Brit final. There is one pair to cheer on in the doubles, Brewer and Flanaghan having too much for Fischer and Oswald,6-4 6-2. Pity Goody and Rush couldn't make it another all-Brit affair, losing out to Junaid and King-Turner, 0-6, 6-4 10-8.
Whoops! Everybody beat me, so I'm off to watch the rugby.
