That is absurd from the LTA, I must say. His wild cards have absolutely nothing to do with his lifestyle or his funding - they are based on his performances and his results have been good enough to get him one.

Arka I think the LTA are correct here.
This will hopefully be the catalyst that spurs on young Rise to bigger and better things. We do not have a great deal of young talent so Im sure he will be brought back in so to speak but this kind of behaviour cannot be condoned and what a wake-up call to the rest.
If we are serious about a replacement for Tim Henman then we need 110% committed players giving up everything to achieve their goals....Murray's comments on the BBC were correct.
"But now I don't drink, I don't smoke - it's the sacrifices you have to make if you want to become a great athlete."
Lets hope for a raft of top 50 players....no a greater number of top 300s.

i came all the way to nottingham to watch him play only to find out he didnt gte a wc and he didnt sign in 4 qs sour grapes if u ask me no wc no sign in 4 qs
Wahey! Harry Skinner finally gets his first point. Fully deserved, he's come so close so many times. He's a really good player. Hopefully he can qualify more regularly now as he will be seeded in qualies, maybe more points to come.
