RE: Week 39 - Futures F18 (M) - Nottingham 2, Great Britain

We can only have 7 qualifiers at most.
The 8th pairing is Conor NILAND (IRL) (1) Vs Frederik SLETTING-JOHNSEN (NOR) (15)

Scott Dickson did well, almost beating Niland in the 2nd Qual Rd. But lost 6-7(4) 6-4 6-3.

And that's a great win for 15 yr-old, Marsalek. It'll be interesting to see how he does against Skinner.

Oh, and "Come on Tim!"  (and Dan!)

From who's missing from qualifying, I'd think the WCs will be Connolly, Searle, Cox & Rice.

I'd be astonished if Rice gets a wild card after reading the story on the BBC Sport,

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/tennis/7010983.stm

Really surprised the Skupster didn't get one after doing well last week.

Nothing against him at all, but why did Priddle get the wild card ahead of Evo? Tough luck of the draw for Evans in qualies. cry.gif

And that was a great win for Marsalek. omg.gif I am not sure but he's probably only the second 1992 born player to have a win over a top 1000 player (along with Andrea Collarini).

I think Priddle got one because he won the last British Tour event.

No idea why Feaver got one though.

Oh, right. Forgot about that.

Hopefully Cox will be able to beat Seator. He normally beats the guys he has beaten before but Seator is in good form and ranked way higher.

I think the best win fora 1992 player is Evan King beating Tyler Cleveland (ranked 472) in July.

Wow, didn't know that!

Also, Yuki Bhambri (worship.gif) was up by a set against Frantisek Cermak (568) in the qualies of Bombay. Don't know what happened after that.

i just found out that rice was told he had a wild card and then after the incident was told to go home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

pretty bad for him and naomi broady to do that considering they get everything paid for just to go out and get pissed. i have seen her page and lots of drunken photos
