That's a bit sweeping johnny...I think it's more a combination of the nasty red stuff, Katie being completely out of form and struggling confidence-wise with her serve...as we saw during the Kraijcek match at Wimbledon...when she's nervous or struggling for form the technique goes....the reason being, her ball toss is rather low and she doesnt tend to get full extension with her arms and legs, so ends up hitting the ball rather flat and not putting much spin on it, to bring it down into the box

 

"when she's nervous or struggling for form" = pressure!

coping with pressure is maintaining technique in the above circumstances.
