Starts tomorrow...goes from 2.30 till 6. There's live coverage on C4 from 4 pm onwards.

Rd1 matches are Jamie Murray-Pat Cash  and Henman - Ivanisevic

The winners will be then drawn at random to see who faces Andy Murray and James Blake in the semis

Format:  Matches last 25 min (?) exactly, when the buzzer goes, whoever's winning at that time goes through. I believe that if scores are level, it's a sudden death point to decide the winner

The surface is indoor hard, going to be pretty quick but also quite high bouncing, like a fast version of rebound ace

Any of them could win this tbh, gonna be very interesting. I have a feeling that Jamie Murray and Goran will be the two rd1 winners

According to the BBC this is the format for the games -

All matches will be contested against the clock. Each match will last for 30 minutes, and when the klaxon sounds, the final game will be played, and the player in the lead will be the winner.

wonder why boggo never gets himslef involved in these type of things. i guess JM is a slam winner, but its a shme the soon to be no2 is so often overlooked.

This has been billed as tennis' answer to cricket's Twenty20 but it doesn't seem to have captured the excitement of the public....apparently the organisers (mobile phone company O2) are having lots of trouble selling tickets.....The timing, just before a massive Davis Cup tie doesn't particularly help and also the tickets are really expensive, to get good ones, its about twice as much as day 1 centre court tickets at Wimbledon, plus C4 are showing it live.

It's because of Judy who manages both of her sons and so whenever she does a deal like this for Andy, she makes sure there's also a deal for Jamie. That's why in the Aberdeen Cup  it's always been Jamie Murray as the Scottish no 2 not Jamie Baker/Alan Mackin.

Also now, being a Wimbledon champion and all the media interest in the canoodling with Jankovic which came with it...Jamie's a big box office draw in his own right.

I guess that these kinda events wouldn't really suit Boggo, personality wise ? ...the Davis Cup atmosphere always sends him into his shell (which is strange as he seems to thrive on the buzz during the grass ATPs)...

Wow, this event is truly awful. Anyone care to disagree? It's cringeworthingly horribly bad. I can't even be bothered wasting my time explaining why, I think it's there for all to see. Can everyone else see what I can see or do you actually think this is a good use of space on Planet Earth

Yeah, that's just one of many many awful things about it Jack. When I can be bothered I will come up with a list of everything wrong with this event. I reckon I can make it to 20-25 quite easily.

Wow, I thought it couldn't get much worse but it just did.

The interviewer just asked Andy what he would be spending his $100k on. Is this a bleeding game show or a supposed apparent sporting tournament. You don't ask the winner of a bejeebering sporting event what he'll spend his winnings on. What did he want him to say, "well I earn that every few weeks jus from a sponsor so probably nothing in particular". Andy just looked a little stunned and mumbled a little before saying "what do you think i should spend it on?"

Not sure if the question was aimed at the interviewer or the crowd but at this point the talentless, tactless moron asking the questions either decided himself or had it decided for him that he'd wasted channel 4's time enough and ended the interview rather abruptly.

Truly awful, cringeworthy, crap car crash television. An absolute embarassment to tennis.
