I agree, it would give them all the confidence that they could break top 100...we have such a lot of players from 100-300....Katie, Anne, Naomi, Bally, Mel, Sarah, Georgie (when she returns)...if one of them does it then the others will get a big boost.

Anne looks most likely atm, her form since mid-July has been so good...really turned her year around. She could get to the brink of top 100 by making the final here and lets face it the top half has opened up so much...any of the players could come through

Katie has the ability to get there but I think she may need to iron out some areas in her game first....she had those fab results in June which got everyone's hopes up but doesnt tend to dominate the 25Ks and 50Ks, consistently making the latter stages like Anne's been doing this year.  Katie needs to start showing her mettle in the bigger pts challengers on the slower surfaces to make the big breakthrough
