Too many errors from Bamford at the moment. He keeps missing with what seems to be regulation shots, and has served at least 5 DF's since I started watching
what happened in that last game...I think Bamford had 2 bps but missed them then I thought Elias had held but he seemed to be unhappy with something, complaining to the umpire on the way back to the chair
Yeah Bamford needs to cut the errors down, consistency is the only way he's going to win this as unlike Elias who's got the huge forehand, Bamford doesnt appear to have any big shots. He moves well, good defensive ability...needs to get a lot, lot more serves in though. Seems to struggle when Elias attacks the net and puts him under pressure, can't remember him making any passing shots in this match....
A lot better from him in that game, despite the awful backhand he missed at 15-15, as he just made sure he didn't make the simple error, and attacked well
Bamford breaks back !! Fist-pump there as Elias went long...I wonder if Elias was serving for it there...seemed to tighten up a bit, missed some easy shots

It would have been 42 or 53, based on what we've seen...depends on how many games were played in the time where no-one saw anything, and both men held serve
Bamford holds to 30... think Brunstrom has just won on the televised court... he served an ace, both men came to the net to shake hands, but the umpire called it out... but both players ignored him and shook hands... Miles on next then
Think Elias won that game, but I missed the first few points because the doorbell rang... don't think he would have missed that smash, but he didn't look happy or pissed off after the point... he just walked to the chair, so difficult to tell
I saw a bit of Miles in Exmouth earlier this year, and he looked reasonably decent, but lost in 2 close sets against the 4th seed who played the big points better than him
