maybe Josh should try drawing Durek into the net a bit, cause Durek's volleying is dire...he's had several really easy ones and I think he's yet to make the court

Josh couldn't pick up his bag and leave any quicker than that.

Durek proves there were a few more spectators all along by celebrating with the crowd off camera. Appears to do an interview, Two people take photos with a flash camera.

Durek was just super-solid in those final few games that was the difference, Josh was really pummelling the corners but Durek just got everything back..gets you to mentally after a while. The 30-40 pt when Josh got broken and the mp at 5-3 were like that...Josh was ripping backhands dtl, cross-court and same off the forehand, but it just kept coming back with interest

England are walloped in the cricket as well. Both "ashes" match won by the criminals!!!!

Goodall and Durek appeared evenly matched. Durek kept his head better, returned well, neutralising Josh's biggest weapon and kept an immaculate length from the baseline which frustrated Josh in the end.

As me and Sheddie have both said, watching from the webcam, Josh could have done with stepping up court more as he seemed to win most points when he got to the net whether through a volley or a forced error. Whether the groundstrokes were too heavy for him and were pushing him back too much to do that I couldn't tell.

Pity. the points difference between losing in semis and winning/losing the final are big in these tournaments. Could really have done with making that final furious.gif
