Hey Tim, see the Indonesia thread. Ward made the quarters in a Futures even there this week.

On the ranking front, Ed is now guaranteed a rise to around 620-630, another win tomorrow and he rises into the top 600, maybe as high as 580. A title here would put him just about in the top 550 I think, meaning a rise of around 250 places in a matter of weeks.

Ed has really hit some form last month or so! None of us predicted Seator would be the one to crack the top 500 first out of the current crop ranked between 500-1000.
I'm really pleased for him and really hope he can progress to challenger level at least! But for now, keep reaching the late stages of futures Eddy boy!
GHEDIN (ITA) / IANNUZZI (ITA) (3) defeated LA PORTE (USA) / SEATOR (GBR) (1) 6-4 7-5
Don't lose 2 finals in the same tournament Ed!
Dell'Aqcua is an interesting one. Has the experience at a much higher level but has had such a bad year until basically this tournament. Couldn't buy a main draw win for months.
Hopefully Ed is fresh from a quick semi final (though he played dubs final today) and can win his first pro title!
Great stuff from Ed this week, what a 3 weeks...now into the world's top 600
Slabba is like He didn't think Ed would get higher than 800s. Must have done some serious work on his game at Sutton past few months, earlier in the year he was struggling to get through futures qualies. It's just reward for Ed after all the hard graft in those 10Ks in the jungle and Asia
Even though he lost the final, he did great to win a set against Dell'Acqua who's been top 200 and has won challengers in the past...i think he's got a winning h-2-h against Boggo !
