That's Ed defended his point from Sudan last year. He has 4 points to defend over the next 4 weeks, so important he keeps winning the odd match at all of these tournaments. An obvious chance to progress in the next round though, and a chance to push on yet further towards the top 500

On recent form, this should be fairly close. At Poland F7, Ed lost in the first round and Accardo went on to lose to Poch-Gradin in the final. At Poland F8, Accardo lost in the first round and it was Ed who lost in the final. Once again it was Poch-Gradin who triumphed.
Last week, Accardo made the quarters of Italy F30, however, the Poland tournament was the first time he's reached the quarters since April, and this is only the third time he's reached a semi all year, so Accardo is hardly a dominant force at this level and Ed should have a very good chance.
