Good luck to Jess on her debut. Hopefully Jenn can do well here. She should be top 500 and higher before the end of the year.

Jessica won 6-1 6-1.  Points are only awarded for the last 16 so she needs to win another to get ranking points.

Nicola Bafana's result is not available at the moment.

Both of the the Ren sisters won today and are now in the points so a first world ranking beckons for Jess.

Jen won 6-3 5-7 6-1 and now plays Sofia Hager (Swe) (Unr)

Jess won 6-2 6-0 and now plays Ellen Allgurin (Swe) (1609) who beat the number 2 seed today in 3 sets

In the remaining first round match, Nicola Bafana lost to Mallin Allgurin 6-1 6-2

Good day for the Ren sisters at Kramfors.

Jenn beat Sofia Hager (Swe) (Unr) 6-3, 6-4
Jess beat Ellen Allgurin (Swe) (1667) 6-0, 6-2

In the quarter-finals the line up is:

Jess vs 6th seed Paulina Milosavljevic (Swe) (978)

The winners play each other!

In the doubles the sisters playing together won their match 6-1, 6-2 and play in the quarter-finals against the top seeds Milander and Milosavljevic (Swe) (1642).

Jenn won her quarter-final 7-6(4), 6-1
Unfortunately Jess lost hers 4-6, 3-6 to Paulina Milosavljevic

In the semi-final Jenn (4th seed) now plays Milosavljevic (Swe) (978) the 6th seed

In the doubles the sisters lost but no score is available - so I hope that does not mean an injury.

Jess comes away with 11.25 points which gives her a first world ranking around 1380 - a great start at only 13 years old.

Good debut for Jess and 1st final for Jenn. If she keeps getting decent results she'll be easily top 500 by the end of the year. Hopefully higher.
