Andy's "big bruv" may have disappointingly bowed out of the men's doubles with Booty at Flushing Meadows last night, but he still has a chance to keep Brit hopes going & a shot at a title in the mixed doubles with Liezel Huber. They're due on Court 10 in a QF match against the unseeded Kevin Ullyett (ZIM) & Paola Suárez (ARG) following the men's doubles match that pits Julien Benneteau & Nicolas Mahut against Jordan Kerr & Tripp Phillips at 21.00 BST. Could be on court at roughly the same time as "little bruv" in the singles. Ain't gonna be easy...
Should be a good close match, with all 4 players being top doubles players, although maybe Suarez isn't as good as she was a few years ago when she was the best in the world
Ullyet is probably a slightly better player than Murray at the moment, but Huber is slightly better than Suarez, so the teams are very evenly matched
