Great to see Josh and Tom making the last 8...both must have upped their levels after tight rd1 matches. Kennaugh was always going to find it tough against Pauhhu who's the 6th seed and won a 10K last week without dropping a set, he made two futures finals in August so clearly in great form.
Big surprise for me this week was Kasiri going out in straights in rd1, Eichenberger is very fast and retrieves a lot of balls so maybe frustrated Kasiri into too many errors...it's tough to outhit him, u really have to grind him down. Eichenberger also has great touch at the net and the courts over there are fast
Rushby v Paukku and Brage v Goody first thing tomorrow, 10 AM Swedish time, so 9 AM here. Go lads. The doubles take place later, Goody & Rush v Skupski & Walter, with Bamfs and Weintraub taking on the local guys, Brunstrom and Holmstrom. Fingers crossed.

Oh Dear !!!
Oh dear indeed! Both three-setters at least but still disappointing, especially Goody, who has a much better ranking than Brage. Strange results in the Paukka/ Rushby match. Any news of the doubles?
