Goodall/Rushby should absolutely cakewalk through that field IMO.

Think we should definitely get more than two through.
Apart from the all-Brit matches, Eaton/Samuels & Bamford/Skupski, Goodall's got a tough draw, but should win. Kasiri can beat Durek. Hewitt can beat Eichenberger. Illingworth's got a good draw, and could beat Raja. And Rushby and Slabba have a chance.
That's 8 in the 2nd round! Woohoo! ...think 4 or 5 is reality though.
Gutted for Josh, but great wins there for Illingworth and Hewitt. Any news on Sagoo?

Yep, did well to take a set there. Must have really caught fire in the second set.

Second round matches:
Matthew Illingworth [1283] vs. Thomas Oger [312] of France. Tim Hewitt [1504] vs. Peter Clarke [591] of Ireland. Chris Eaton [782] vs. Satoshi Iwabuchi [354] of Japan. Alexander Slabinsky [746] vs. Sunil Kumar Sipaeya [622] of India. Kenneth Skupski [1331] vs. Conor Niland [363] of Ireland.
Well done to Slabba on making the QF's, but a bit disappointing to see only 1 Brit get there after having a good week last week
Still, good to see Hewitt get another point and showing he is finally kicking on from his junior title last year, and good for Eaton, Illingworth and Skupski to get points as well
