Sorry I thanked the wrong person for the link, Forever Delayed, I did go back and correct it immediately, but you were too quick and replied while I was doing it!

It's okay... now time to sit and watch Gonzo vs. Gabashvilli on the link, which is going the way of the Russian, with Gonzalez playing some really poor tennis

I felt really bad as I thought Tim would never win his 500th ATP match.....but now there is hope....

Do Davis Cup matches count as ATP wins....I am not sure....but I am over the moon...what a win!!!!!

So, so happy to have predicted wrongly. Excellent match and great for Tim to show that he's totally justified in saying that he can still play well when he's healthy. Boy, are we going to miss him.

Well done Tim! you beat your nemesis in your last ever (non davis cup) tournament!. if he goes far in this tournament... i wonder if he might, y'know... change his mind?

I wish he would....I doubt it but hey....after reading what James Blake said last week....Tim has beaten Blake, Hewitt and Roddick in practice recently.  He practiced with Fed last week....he played so well today....he could still do tons of damage, but playing with pain must be terrible.....

Still....what a day....at least one more rollercoaster Henman match left in the USA

Wow, I just tried the #2 stream of that link, and the commentary was in something like Dutch!

Actually I rather like it when livestreams have no commentary. After all if you watch a match live there isn't somebody sitting next to you giving his opinions (at least I hope there isn't laughing.gif )

There's always a link in Chinese, but that wasn't showing any tennis when I last tried it. I did show the first couple of sets of the Robredo/Reynolds match earlier before cutting to an endless commercial break, and hasn't returned to the tennis since

Then click on the link which says US Open tennis

Currently it is showing Gabashvilli vs. Gonzalez, but it is the eurosport live feed

Well done Tim, such a good match and glad he's made it through. Glad he could get another over his nemesis Tursunov. Onwards and upwards for him, hopefully he can make it into the 3rd round and a possible meeting with Nadal. Such an exciting night for me flicking between this match and the footiebiggrin

Tim Henman has a really good chance to go deep in the tournament now. Tsonga is up next, and he is effectively a less impressive version of Tursunov with the flashy game, big serve and big forehand, so he could win that (plus he's french, so he can choke)

It would then be either Ryan Sweeting or Jankko Tipsarevic, who is struggling a lot at the moment, or Rafa Nadal in round 3, and if Nadal plays like he did today, then Henman will beat him in straight sets... in fact, Robert Dee could well end up pushing Nadal in this form... he was that bad

Henman to make round 4.... is definately a possibility

Wish I had your optimism, FD.  Delighted Tim cleared the first hurdle by dumping out the 27th seed in Flushing Meadows, but Tsonga had a really good run over here pre-Wimbledon & didn't do that badly at Wimbledon itself... eyepopping.gif  That said, I sincerely hope he makes me eat my words! pray.gif

Tsonga did really well on the grass, but hasn't actually won a match since then, and didn't look that good against Oscar Hernandez today, a man who has never in his life won a match off the clay

Tsonga is basically the same kind of player as Tursunov, just not as good, so if Tim plays like he did today, then he has a definate chance of winning that match, and possibly going even further afterwards, as the section is opening up with the way Nadal is playing
