Yay! Not quite as straightforward as was to be hoped, but they got there in the end: 7-6(3) 3-6 [10-5]! They're also back in action in the 3rd match on Court 3 tomorrow against two from the host country, Alessandro da Col & Andrea Stoppini (love that name! Ideal for a tennis player... ). The match follows two singles encounters, the first of which kicks off at 10.00 BST.

And this time they managed a win in straight sets, 7-6(3) 6-4! No match tomorrow while their SF opponents are sorted out (Gil & Martín or Burzi & Marrero/Brizzi & Pedrini). Looking hopeful...

Stoppini and partner couldn't stop Delgo and Scherrer the top seeds won 7-6(3) 6-4. Into the semi-finals they go.
If Eric Prodon wins two more matches he'll have made nine finals in a row.
This guy surely is the most consistent player in men's tennis from the last few months. Since the second week of May, his win - loss record reads 39 - 3. I think that he'll be top 100 next year with the way he is improving.
