Week 34 - Challenger $35,000 - Karshi, Uzbekistan


Josh Goodall vs Denis Istomin (Uzbekistan) in the first round. Istomin is ranked 315, but has a career high of 186. Winner due to meet 4th seed in second round.

Josh Goodall and Patrick Briaud (USA) vs Evgeniy Kirillov and Alexandre Kudryavtsev (Russia) in the first round. Goodall and Briaud are the second seeds.

Istomin... I like this guy. Saw him play Federer at last year's Australian Open and thought that he would go places, but sadly not.

It'll be tough for Josh but he has beaten far better players.

They needed an MTB to do it & had to come back from a set down, but they got there in the end:  5-7 6-4 [10-7]!  clap.gif  Something must be starting to click! thumbsup.gif  Coelho & Feeney, the Aussie 4th seeds, who had a far easier win yesterday (2 & 0), in the semis... pray.gif
