Greg Goodall won his second round match 0&1 to reach the quarter-finals.

Greg playing with Alistair Barnes, won their first round doubles match 4&1.

Chaudry/Marsalek also won 6-7(5) 7-6(4) 6-2.

Having just checked Gregs record, it would appear that these two wins give him his first singles points! smile

Greg Goodall, ranked 1678, was due to play the second seed Yannick Vandenbulke (Bel) ranked 254 in the quarter finals....

....and he won 6-1 4-6 6-4 biggrin

Greg is now due to play Tobias Fanselow (Ger), ranked 894 in the semi-final

However Greg did not have a perfect day as he and Alistair Barnes lost in the doubles 4-6 6-3 4-6.

Marsalek/Chaudry won their doubles match 3&2 to reach the semi-final.

Unfortunately Greg could not keep the run going. He lost 4&3. cry

Chaudry/Marsalek reached the doubles final with a 2&1 win.

The final went to two tie breaks 6-7 (4) 7-6(4) when the Brits retired injured. furious

It does not say which of the two was hurt. I hope it is not too serious with the Nationals being played next week.
