Cincinnati Masters 07 R1 - Murray v Baghdatis

Somebody can add a poll if they like, all I would ask is will he win or won't he!

The match is third on Grandstand court. I'm pretty useless with time zones laughing.gif but I think that just might be about 7pm here? Depending on the length of the preceding matches of course.

I don't feel confident. Baggy is no Ginepri. Unless Andy's wrist has improved in leaps and bounds this week, I can't see him coming through this.

(Prove me wrong, Andy, please! please.gifpray.gif )

I can't see Andy winning unless his wrist is much, much better. Baggy is looking fit and is playing quite well so it could be pretty ugly if Andy doesn't serve well.

Hopefully he will play a blinder though and be motivated by last week. Again though, anything that doesn't end in his retirement due to aggravating the wrist will be fine, and all the better if he manages to smack a few forehands around win or lose.

I guessed 7pm too for a possible start.

Getting off the court without straining his wrist is a 'Win' in my book, at the moment !

Can't see anything other than Baggy in 2 unless there has been a significant improvement in Andy's wrist over the last week

As long as he gets through the match unscathed should be the main thing, but if he is still struggling with his wrist, then he is isn't going to be much of a threat at the US Open, as anyone with a brain with just hit everything to his forehand

It says match suspended on Andy's court but on none of the other courts. Wrist gone?

I'd just like to see some good news for a change.
With Greg retired, Boggo fairly unpredictable and Andys long term
injury, it's hard not to feel fairly glum,
So here's hoping smile

No I didn't mention Tim did I........

Panic over, match has started, Andy serving at 40-15.

To be honest, I'm not expecting much from Andy at the moment, so the cushions are safe! (unless the match proves close. . .)
