Col Fleming and Rob Searle are in singles action.
Colin lost to Heinrich Heil of South Africa in the second round.
Searle faces rising Russian star Pavel Tchekov (who also spells his name as 'Chekov') in the pre-quarter finals.

Colin is playing this one off event just for fun, I guess.
This tourney is for students, Thailand is a lovely place to visit, and someone else is taking care of all his expenses - so why not give it a go?

good win over Chekhov though.
And for those who frequent MTF well done to Scarecrows, who I beleive is the Genci Cakiri of Albania who lost to Chekhov in R3.
(6)Pavel Chekhov (RUS) d. Genci Cakciri (ALB) 6-1 6-1 winning two matches to get to that stage.

Wow, that's a great result for Searle. Chekov reached the final of a Challenger earlier this year and will probably crack the top 100 someday.
They lost their doubles match by 6-3 7-6(1).
