Craciun is the Romanian for Christmas, while the Dacians were the tribe of people that lived in that area before the Romans. Don't know anything about his tennis though and hoping that Josh's revival will start here.

'Bukhara' means 'lucky place' in the local dialect, so hopefully you're right with the revival. please.gif

So we want to wake up to good news in the morning then. That doubles result isn't very promising, but hopefully it was a loss born out of either the other player not being very good or them being unable to work together as a new partnership and not because of anything Goodall was doing! please.gif

Ghouse is no mug at doubles, bit Goodall/Briaud would have been clear favourites imo. Bad result.

'Tis indeed.clap.gif It's Weintraub (ISR) next, he's ranked around 418 so Goody should have a chance of progressing further.pray.gif

Great to see Josh winning again.

Interestingly enough "Weintraub" means 'Crying Robbery' in German. So expect a few tantrums when Josh Slaughters him.

Rubbish! rofl.gif  Where on earth did you dredge that up?  disbelief.gif  If you were trying to split the compound noun into its component parts to get the meaning, you split it in the wrong place:  Wein (= "wine") + Traube (= "grape")! clueless.gif  Weintraube, the compound, means "a bunch of grapes" or simply "grapes"!  The closest you're going to get, if you choose to go down that particular road, will be "the grapes" [of wrath], should Goody lose! wink
