RE: $50,000 Bronx, NY usa

This proberbly has to go down as the strongest 50k field ever

Qualy draw is out:
http://www.itftennis.com/womens/tournaments/drawsheetbyRound.asp?event=1100090961&tournament=1100015956

Neither Mel, naomi or elena are seeded just to show how strong the qualies draw is.

Week 33 - Womens 50K - Bronx, NY, USA

I think Naomi and Bally have the best chance of qualifying. Mel should win her 1st match but beyond that its will be tough.

I'm hoping Bally and Naomi face off but this is one of the toughest ITF's of the year.

Mel won 6-4 6-4

Poster on WTAworld says she thinks Bally won but can't be certain

No news on Naomi yet

Mel and Elena both lost in straights.

Mel 6-2 7-6

Elena 6-2 6-4

Need Naomi to keep it going for us. Her match is probably finished by now but no result yet
