One of our 1990 girls. Was doing sort of well in Juniors last year (took her ranking up to 350ish at the start of the year) but hasn't played much this year. Beat Yasmin last year, I see.

Hopefully Kirsty can continue her renewed form (two qfs). Same with Charlotte Martin. Also Yas continues her comeback and looks likely to qualify. Lizaan Duplessis will probably be tough for any Brit girls who face her.

I wanted to stay to watch her but the 1st 2 mens matches on that court took so long. She should qualify with ease. Gleddon is not amazing.

anna smith is an amzing talent just having a bad spell at the moment. warburton is just a big underahiever but she can creep through draws nicely. when she plays well she is lovely to watch not to mention her uncanny resemblance to mauresmo except not as manly good luck to all!!!!!!!!

liz thomas v bone is interesting specially as bone leaving for uni in sept wonder if shell rely be fighting in her last few comps

broady seems to be getting quite a few tough draws recently

Very good, I think. She was in college for a while and now has gone pro. In June, she won a 10K in Portugal, becoming only the third Indian to win one in Europe in the last eight years. She said that she aims to end the year inside the top 200.

Anastasia's not competed much this year due to injury and GCSEs in June. Hasn't played enough ITFs to be able to really judge how much potential she's got....as Arka says, she beat Yasmin in 3 sets last Nov in the Sunderland main
draw....gave Jade Curtis a decent match in rd1 of Frinton last month. She was a bit pissed off as LTA made her quality for the U18 nationals at the weekend and so thought she'd miss this tourney but got the wc

Apparently she's one of the best looking GB juniors according to the likes of Barnesy. She must be something special for quite a number of our best juniors to have claimed to have gone out with/slept with her so I'll be interested to read your observations Mervatron
