Week 31 - Futures F1 (M) - Lima, Peru - $10K+H - Clay

Myles Blake continues his quest for the airmiles and the cheap rankings points (respect!worship.gif) This time in Peru.

He's 6th seed, and plays Argentinian Federico Paskvan, ranked 1002,  in the first round.

If it is the same as it was earlier then I don't think it is correct.

Look at all the winners, and you will notice that every single one of them was the second of the two in the drawsheet, so unless a very fluky situation has occured, I don't believe it yet...

The same thing was posted earlier in the GB results section, with all the bottom players beating the top players, so I think it could be a glitch in their system

On Myles draw... it will be disappointing if he doesn't make the QF's here, as he is the only top 1000 player in that section. I'm thinking he could make the semi's here, which would be a good start to his run in Peru

I feel Myles's draw is especially bad given how weak the field is. He will play either Pella or Rafael Garcia (probably Pella), who are both young and can play way above their ranking.

Pella is just 17 but has a few ranking points and is supposed to be one of the best young prospects coming from South America. I think that he can beat top 500 players regularly on clay.

Pella beat Myles singles conquerer as well. I bow to the great Arka, predictor of the draws!

Haha, thank you. biggrin.gif I managed to come last in Pick 'em the only time I played it, mind it.

Pella is through to semis after a win against Aravelo.
