Well done Anne! First Brit to win a 50K title for 5 years, moving her up to around 150, and gaining a feed-up to MD or quali for one of the lower tier WTA autumn tournaments I think.

Thank God for that! That's amazing news! I'm glad she missed out on LA qualies as a win at a weak 50K was probably easier than trying to beat Govortsova. Anne has really found her feet these past 2 weeks.

Since the tournament was in Canada, i think she got a MDWC or QWC in the Quebec Tier 4 tournament in October.

Well i dont think is got a consistent or powerful weapon to actualy be in the top 100. Even though its unfortunate to say that, but to its true. i like her angled shots within the service box but thats about all!
