Anne Keothavong-will be seeded 4
Anna Fitzpatrick

Good to see Anna making main draws of a 50k, should be a good week with katie top seed and anne playing so well this week and anna coming of the back of a 10K semi also Jade curtis should have a very good chance of qualifying aswell.

Sadly Jade lost her 2nd qualifying match to an unranked slovakien 6-4 7-6(5)  confused furious

Dieskova moonballed and sliced all the time which frustrated Curtis so much. Jade just went for too much at the wrong time.

Main Draw:

Katie O'Brien GBR [1] vs. Soledad Esperon ARG (ranked 326)
Anne Keothavong GBR [4] vs. Frederica Piedade POR (ranked 331)
Anna Fitzpatrick GBR vs. Maya Gaverova RUS [Q] (ranked 677)

Esperon reached the QF of 10K Calgary last week and the same round of 25K Hamilton the week before. She also won a 10K on clay earlier this year. Piedade retired in the first round of 50K Lexington last week (where she played doubles with Anne) but was ranked as high as 142 in the spring of last year. The highlight of Gaverova's year so far has been a 10K title in Indonesia in May, she was also a top 30 junior last year.

Anna F (387) vs Stephanie Dubois (121)


Dubois won Lexington last week and is closing in on the top 100. It will be a massive test for Fitzy! Anne and Katie shoudl win easily!

So we wait and see!
