Semi Final results

KING-TURNER (NZL) / MARTIN (FRA) defeated BRASSINGTON (GBR) / KINSELLA (GBR) 6-7(5) 6-3 7-6(5)
FLANAGAN (GBR) / KLEIN (AUS) defeated BAMFORD (GBR) / RUSHBY (GBR) (2) 6-1 6-0

Great effort from Brassington and Kinsella to get so close to winning, especially as King-Turner is in the singles final as well, so it shows that these two seem to have some potential as a doubles team and should get a load of WC's from now to the end of the season

I guess one of Bamford/Rushby was injured, as they shouldn't have lost that easily to Klein/Flanagan. Good luck to Flanners in the final though, and hope he can bring home a title

Unfortunately, Brassington and Kinsella couldn't quite do it, losing 7-6(5) 3-6 6-7(5). A good week for them all the same.

The other semi was won by Flanagan and Klein who beat the second seeds 6-1 6-0, confused

Ian Atkinson and M Leahy do contest a final in Ilkley this week, but its the Tropicana British Tour event. Anyone know who Leahy is? He's got a good LTA rating!

Anna F's brother bt Thornley but then Atkinson bt him. Leahy had an easier route to the final.

Andy Fitzy is not Anna Fitzy's brother!! Andy is a fairly good 1989 though.

Flanagan & Klein are the winners at Ilkley. They saw off King-Turner & Martin 6-3 6-1.
