I hope Miles K is going to be fit. confused  I spoke to David Rice at Nottingham earlier this week and he said he would be a Ilkley next week, yet his name is not on the list. Does anyone know why? He also told me he would be at Wrexham the week after Ilkley.hmm

Since Rice had about 1 in 100000 chance of getting a direct entry with his ranking (1500ish), maybe he didn't bother to enter himself? Loads of players do that.

He is there on the entry list for Wrexham, but Cox, Evans and Dyce aren't there. confused.gif

If Ricey is around he will get a WC, if he does'nt I will be shocked. I agree I think Willis should get one & Pauffley if he is around, although may be at summer cup? Milton should get one too, my list would look like this-
Rice
Willis
Pauffley
Milton

laughing.gif We should explain to Ross Hutchins and Josh Goodall that if they want to get anywhere in doubles they need to change their names to James/Jamie too

Oh, I dunno.  They seem to be coping quite well with different partners & with their given first names at the moment, Josh having just reached the final of the Nottingham Challenger with Mustafa Ghouse (they beat Coelho & Feeney 7-6(2) 7-6(3)) & Ross apparently poised to follow suit in Lexington with Phillip Simmonds (7-6 1-0 to them vs Kondo & Sato, last time I checked)... wink

Oh, sorry. I thought that the reserves travelled, too.

Not this year for some reason  but you are correct in thinking that reserves travel too, as in previous years they have.

Definately 4 qualifiers, and a chance of 7 making the main draw, so it looks as if it is going to be reasonably successful for the Brits here

Thornley, Podelski and Illingsworth muist all be very disappointed with their losses though

I really hope Jonathon Kinsella qualifies, does anybody know anything about this player, this year he has really seemed to have gone for it, tournament wise?
