Actually, she's 993, from what the ITF tells me.

The Ed Corrie result was probably a larger ranking than this one, but I would say that this is more significant for the future of british tennis. To have a 15-yr-old beating high seeds in $10Ks is heartening.

Any news on G Stoop and N Khan, will they be playing again this year. Also Y Clarke won her first round match in the USA.

Keep going Tara :)

I have a feeling she may go very deep here.

Good to hear Natasha might be back!

I would be very surprised if Tara made too much of an impact here. Even though she is clearly talented, someone that young can't possibly have developed the experience to consistently deal with players with more tactical nouse. I'd love to be wrong, though.

A good win for Tara, though perhaps a little harder work than one might have expected. Great to see her winning 3-setters, though.

Moore v Bone for a place in the semis. My money is on Julia.

So we've got one Brit definitely in the semis and the possiblity to have all four semi finalists. According to seedings we should have 3 with just Woolley losing to the 4th seed. Unfortunately I doubt it'll be as simple as that.
