Week 30 - Challenger (M) - Lexington, USA

Bobby must be a physically fit person to play so many matches and winning many challengers, especially at his age!

Either the longest tiebreak in history or the scoreboard's not been updated. C'mon Jamie!

It would seem so, but it would also appear that the so-called "live" scoreboard has died!  At any rate, it's been stuck on 6-7 2-2 (to Terachi) for I don't know how long! cry  Not looking good for Jamie B at the moment...hmm

ETA:  I'd kinda like to know whether Bally was able to capitalise on her 3-1 lead over Natalie Frazier (US), too! wink

Phew, that's a relief! smile  It appears (score reads 6-2 6-5, but no suggestion of a retirement! confused ) that Bally won, too! smile

That is a relief indeed after the nottingham results. we really need something to cheer about at the moment. But as the tide comes in the water does go back and forth, but the general trend is still upwards. I will remain an eternal optimist!

And it looks (I sometimes find the Lexington "scoreboard" a bit confusing) as though his opponent in the next round will be Hutch's doubles partner, Phillip Simmonds.  No actual score is given for his match against the South African, Izak van der Merwe, though! confused  The big news, however, is that the top seed, Bobby Reynolds is out, beaten 1-6 6-3 6-4 by his compatriot, Michael Yani! eyepopping.gif
