Hope Anne goes all the way, and start going up rankings, but she blows hot and cold all too often. But lets hope this is a new determination after the bad press they got after Wimbledon.
I expected Ditty to win after she dismissed Bally so comfortably, but I guess Anne is full of surprises - you go Special K! After a pretty poor season she has finally found some form which is excellent and hopefully is the start of a push back up the rankings - she can still make the top 100 by years end if she keeps this up!
I make this Anne's first 50K final, and indeed the first 50K final with a Brit since Julie Pullin won Gifu (Japan) in May 2002. The men's final is scheduled for 7pm our time, followed by the women's final. Good luck Anne!
well done to Anne for taking the first set, shame she couldn't take it in straights. Hopefully she doesn't get despondent and forces the momentum to turn back to her in this final set.
Thanks for posting the scores Sally.

Poor Annie - it seems she was on fire for a set and a bit then lost the momentum. Dubois beat Anne in straight sets in the first round of this tournament two years ago, so todays loss wasn't a massive shock. Still it has been a great week for Anne. Hopefully she can do the same next week in Vancouver.
