Hopefully Bloomers will put in a better performance this week...Josh is seeded to defend those quarter-final pts from last year
Any news on whether Marray will be competing ?
Who should get the wcs ? Evo has to get one, so does Milton, of the juniors Cox probably has the best chance of taking advantage of a nice draw so he has to get one. Which leaves a straight pick between Dyce and Ricey for the final one....hmmm, I guess I'd go for Dyce because he beat a top 500 player last week
Doubt the boys will play this, have not heard anything in the line of a WC & both boys are planning on having a few days off next week & maybe playing the last few days of county week, Pauffley is going to the team Euro's but is a non travelling reserve for the individuals.

Its Not Who You Know But What You Know.........Or Is It???
Unfortunately neither Evo nor Cox will be taking part here. They leave for the European Championships on Friday.
Milton has to get one, I think. Dyce has had two in the last two weeks, so he'll probably have to do qualies here.
I guess that it's between Ward, Rice, Kasiri, Slabba and Searle for the other two.
I'm sure I heard Dyce say to Judy Murray on the hpone that he was off away for another tournament. I do know that Flanaghan and Bourgeouis of Aus are in Nottingham
I'd give wcs to: Kasiri, Milton, Rice and Slabba....Ward's had several in the past few weeks
Evo and Cox should have entered this instead of the Euros, playing top 400 ATP opposition would have been much more beneficial....hopefully Dyce is going for a futures

Dyce isn't playing this week, and isn't due to play next week or the week after next.
Is he going back to the US? If he did then he could play Futures in the Americas, where the fields are less strong and the courts suit his game more than in Britain.
Hopefully we'll get a qualifier or so out of this, but not too convinced that we will though
Bamford/Skupski have a chance in the top section, especially as Groth best results have come on the clay, so one of them could sneak past him
Rushby is seeded to make it, so there has to be some hope there, but Klein could take him out in the final round
May is he rediscovers his pre-Wimbledon form could get through as well, but hopefully someone will
Another terrible draw in the singles for most of the Brits though, but at least we will get someone through with Slabba and Bloomers meeting. Childs has a chance as well, and so does Kasiri, as Juska is currently playing Davis Cup on the clay, so he won't have any time to adjust to the grass
No, Jonny will be out for a minimum of about 4 weeks, he had a minor op on tuesday which I'll put more detail about on the website later this after.
so he won't be back till the indoor season in September where unfortunately he has quite a lot to defend. Hopefully he'll still in the top 300 come the new year and can just start afresh
he's been so unlucky given how he was playing last autumn and in the Aussie Open

There's no futures in Britain for a couple of weeks now, maybe he's heading for some weaker futures in Eastern Europe or Africa to try and pick up some pts. He's easily capable of making a 10K semis at least in some of those fields. Henman used them to get a kick-start when he began playing the mens tour
I'll send Dyce an email or maybe goldenslam will know ?
