Searle's run has come to an end as Iannuzzi beat him 7-6(4) 7-6(2).

However in the doubles we have 3 of the 4 semi finalist teams:

Bamford/Rushby vs Eichenburger/La Porte

Milton/Rice vs Allinson/Irwin

Disappointing not to get the all Brit set of quarter finals I was hoping for but really the only one that went against seeding/ranking was Rushby's so we shouldn't be too upset.

Searle did well to beat the second seed, a shame he couldn't hold that form in the qf especially as it looks to have been just a couple of points in the tiebreaks cry.gif

Doubles we seem to be doing well again though so that's positive. smile.gif I'm gunning for the youngsters in the all Brit semi though I don't really mind who wins so long as it's close.

It seems the youngsters weren't listening, imo:  Allinson & Irwin beat 'em 4 & 2, then themselves succumbed (eventually) to Bamfs & Rush in the final, the latter winning 6-2 0-6 [another of those strange reversals of set scores! eyepopping.gif ] 6-4!
