Alex starts the week by dropping 9 places to 119, as he defends 40 points from his Newport quarter- final place last year cry.gif

A first  - round win will take him past Cilic, Vanek and De Voest.  It could take him past Sanguinetti, Dlouhy, Capdeville and Di Mauro, if their results are poor.

If Boggo were to lose, Montcourt and Falla are both within a win of overtaking hmm.gif

Alex loses. Does this mean he could find himself back outside the top 120?

Very poor loss, if he's going to play at ATP level this summer, he needs to toughen up.

He needs 2 players to overtake him and he's out of the top 120. Falla and Montcourt both just need one win to do so.

A really bad night for Boggo's ranking cry.gif

Falla overtakes furious.gif. Stepanek sneakily qualifies for Gstaad, and then beats Cilic in the first round to overtake and  knock Alex out of the top 120 furious.gif

Boggo down to 121.

Montcourt and Moody are still within a win of overtaking hmm.gif

Moodie knocks Boggo back to 122, winning his R2 in Newport cry.gif

Norman also wins on Rhode Island and is now within a win of overtaking, as are Haase and Zib hmm.gif

Lots of comptitors advancing today. Zib overtakes in Oberstaufen furious.gif, but Haase is knocked out smile.gif

Advancing behind are : Marach and Pavel in Schebveningen, Ascione in Mantua and Zverev in Newport. Di MAuro progresses ahead.

Norman (plays Qureshi ), Marach (v. Patience), Pavel (v. Sluiter or Kubot) and Zverev (v. Santoro) can all overtake if they win their matches tomorrow hmm.gif
