The BBC text commentary was rumouring chemistry between them....

Well done to Jamie (and partner). Made up for him, and the 45K will well come in handy. Will they do USO too? (Actually, does USO have Mixed doubles?)

i believe uso does. i have also heard that possibley boggo and mel will ask for a wc, i have my doubts as to whether they would get one tho.

awesome stuff,

jankovic was unbelievable from the back of the court, picked bjorkman's serve with ease!

and murray was superb at the net - great reflexes!

british champ at wimbledon!!!

It was a fantastic match - I'm so happy for them. They played it the right way, they didn't take themselves (or anything else) too seriously and it was just great to watch them. I know it's 'only' mixed doubles, but it's still a Grand Slam title and it was there to be one and it was a major achievement for them to beat so many seeds on the way to winning it.

In a more frivilous note - if Virginia Wade was right and Jelena does have a boyfriend, how worried do you think that he should be after watching her and Jamie together? wink

Was a great match and very happy for Jamie and Jelena. They played so well today just seemed to improve round by round as a team and end to a great 2 weeks for them beating quite a few seeded teams on the way. Fair play to them.

A British Grand Slam winner at Wimbledon, woo-hoo biggrin

I missed this totally due to being in Florida....CBS/NBC etc only ever really mentioned singles and this was a very nice surprise to come home to.

As for the cleavage....well thats just Ed for you wink.gif
