Amazing win! Boggo played almost as well as he did with Safin at Queen's, and that's saying something, but Mel South playing that well was a stunner - how much spinach has she been eating the last couple of days! I hope they enjoy it ... and enjoy meeting the press tonight for once!

Brilliant match from the two Brits! clap.gif

Not bad from Jamie & Jelena, either!

Jelena and Jamie are on the schedule to play the third seeds Knowles and Yan sometime this evening.

The court is yet to be anounced and i think the schedulers are being optimistic if they think they can complete the match as its getting a little dark here in East London.

Fantastic from Alex and Mel.

What a result, and Jamie and Jelena as well.

Great end to the day and more Brit matches to watch.

Agreed and after the slating some of them have received this week, a fine response.

Looking good for Alex to get that final Davis Cup spot now too. Proved over the last few weeks he can play doubles as well as any of the other candidates.

No better way to silence the critics!  wink Two great wins in the mixed ( thumbsup.gif ) - & great to get in from work to find live tennis showing on the box! w00t.gif

Really great couple of matches from the Brits and the Murray/Jankovic one finished just as the Soggo match was getting juicy. Really impressed by all of them. Lovely to watch Brits playing great doubles tennis. clap.gifclap.gif

The doubles tonight was great to watch. Jamie and Jelena just looked like they had so much fun out there and although it was clear that Jelena wasn't really used to playing doubles with her tendency to stay back, they looked so much better as the match progressed.

Boggo and South though were amazing. I was so impressed with them - a great performance. And Boggo held his nerve when serving it out as well. He has to get the DC spot. He played so well.

I'm really glad the doubles are getting televised - it's been great watching the teams progress.

Such a great win for Boggo and South over the no 1 seeds. Fair play to them, who knows maybe they can go far into the draw wink.gif

As for Jankovic bit surprised really as she's ranked at 57 in the doubles so don't know what was happening there unless she hasn't played much doubles of late which is probably the case. Still none the was a good match to watch.

Why is everyone so obsessed with Boggo going to Newport? The number 2 seeds Bryan/Stosur handed their opponents a walkover today so I think our 2 teams have every chance. Why would Boggo pass up even a half chance of a Wimbledon title to go and play an ATP when he's going to be playing ATPs all summer. Surely he'll be able to play Newport even if he doesn't get finished until Sunday anyway, he doesn't have to go through qualies right?

No, he doesn't. They could give him a Wednesday start if he is in the finals.
