Superb result for Dan. Spuski keeps seeming to flatter to deceive, picks up a couple of excellent results then seems to fall short of picking up some decent ranking points.
Extra tough draw for Cox, will do amazingly well to take a set I think..

Joshua Milton [Unr] beat Antoine Tassart [1286] of France by 6-3 6-2 Alexander Slabinsky [747] beat Purav Raja [824] of India by 6-2 6-1 Daniel Evans [1511] beat Ken Skupski [1335] 6-2 7-5 Ross Connolly [1034] beat Alexander Sadecky [725] of Switzerland by 6-2 6-2 David Brewer [882] beat Robert Searle [846] by 6-3 7-5 Ed Corrie [1125] beat Luke Campbell [Unr] by 7-6 (11) 6-1 Travis Rettenmaier [1246] of the USA beat Neil Bamford [870] by 6-3 7-6(3)
Six qualifiers!
Great wins from Milton, Evans (shame that he had to beat a Brit) and Connolly.
Daniel Cox [1073] vs. Alun Jones [193] of Australia Miles Kasiri [663] vs. David Brewer [882] Matthew Smith [810] vs. Luke Bourgeois [567] Australia James Ward [697] vs. Riccardo Ghedin [549] of Italy Daniel Smethurst [Unr] vs. Andrew Coelho [403] of Australia Graeme Dyce [1505] vs. Simon Rea [506] of New Zealand Tom Rushby [580] vs. Ralph Grambow [652] of Germany Ed Corrie [1125] vs. Nicolas Tourte [250] of France Daniel Evans [1505] vs. Divij Sharan [457] of India Ross Connolly [1034] vs. Josh Milton [Unr] Alexander Slabinsky [747] vs. Philipp Marx [591] of Germany Joshua Goodall [248] vs. Gilles Elseneer [658] of Belgium
The ridiculous luck of the draw continues. Cox has had eight wild cards in 2006 and this year and he has drawn seeds/eventual winner in all of them except for one. Jones is a great grass player and nearly beat Karlovic at Surbiton. Looks like this is way beyond Dan's current level but you never know.
Kasiri should be able to beat Brewer comfortably.
Nice draw for Milton, even though it won't be easy. Connolly seems to be in good form.
Dyce may have an outside chance but very tough draws for both Evans and Smethurst. Not fair on Evans as he has had three good wins in qualifying. But he has beaten a top 300 player recently, so could shock us.
Elseneer may be ranked so low right now but he's not to be underestimated. He used to be top 100 and loves playing on grass.
It's unusual for a British Futures, but this tournament will be played over the rest of the week. Only five matches with British involvement are scheduled for today -
Daniel Evans [1505] vs. Divij Sharan [457] of India Ross Connolly [1034] vs. Josh Milton [Unr] James Ward [697] vs. Riccardo Ghedin [549] of Italy Daniel Smethurst [Unr] vs. Andrew Coelho [403] of Australia Graeme Dyce [1505] vs. Simon Rea [506] of New Zealand
Connolly, Evans and Milton are playing the day after qualifying where as the others are taking rest. Preposterous.
BBC is still using its Wimbledon results page, so there's no way we are getting to know the results before 11 p.m. (that's around when the official site usually updates).
Florida was about 95 during the day and 94.5 at night...so the kids wilted early on...they saw Mickey blah blah but teally enjoyed their 'own pool'....Kissimmee is becoming the 'blackpool of Florida !
