Tursonov looks like he really doesn't want to be out there lol. He was very wound up at the start of the match and his mood hasn't improved much. Hopefully our lads can take advantage.

Tiebreak (T serving first)

Pts from the perspective of Goodall and Hutchins

0-1: H return wide

1-1: gr8 defence at the net from G and H, T puts bh long

2-1: big serve down the T

3-1: superb return from H, right at K's feet and K can only net

3-2: K defends well from some fierce groundies from G....G puts up lob but not high enough, K smashes awya

4-2: Great volleying from G and H against some hard hitting from T....T puts up several lobs...retrieves 1 smash but not the 2nd

4-3: G nets drop volley attempt

4-4: Massive fh winner dtl from T...H left a bit of a gap there

5-4: superb interception from H...could this be crucial ?

5-5: H doesn't do enough with 1st volley and T rips another dtl winner

6-5: great high bh smash from H, T shanks fh well wide

6-6: H nets fh return

6-7: G nets fh return

6-8: T gets lucky with a bh lob....H scrambles back and gets it....K powers a smash which is retrieved by G but T is at the net to put away a volley

and play is called off for the day....so Goodall and Hutchins face an uphill battle in this one to try and come from 2 sets to 1 down....they need to make more returns tbh...been serving really well...got v unlucky in that tiebreak, just two volleys which they should have made and that cost them

You're getting Aucks live? We're not, just Jamie

Yeah, because of Paes.

As the scoreline suggests, there was almost no difference in the quality of tennis produced by the two teams. It was just that Huss had a lot of trouble serving towards the end. Paes and Damm had actually won the match by breaking in the 12th game of the fourth set but there was a poor line call . They got fired up over it and the momentum took them through the tie break.

Saw the first 3 games of Goodall/Hutchins and they looked like they were going to walk all over the Russki's.

Pity they're 2-1 down as Tursunov will have more energy today...
