Boggo v Gucci

dont know if they will get round to this today, currently becker v chela is 8-8 in the 5th. mahut/clement was also a huge match, and there is a ladies match still to play (sugi v south) before alex gets in action.

Silly Becker indeed, i've gotten 6/8 matches wrong in that 8th cry.gif

Hopefully Bogs does get out today and play at least a couple of sets (winning both of course!)

from bbc:

GB coach given leave of absence:

Peter Lundgren
Lundgren was named GB Davis Cup coach last October
British Davis Cup coach Peter Lundgren has been given a leave of absence by the Lawn Tennis Association for "personal reasons".

The Swede was reported to have slurred his words when he spoke in front of fellow coaches at a conference at the LTA's headquarters last weekend.

Head of men's tennis Paul Hutchins refused to explain what had happened.

But he revealed Lundgren was taking a leave of absence until Britain's Davis Cup tie against Croatia in September.

Lundgren became Britain's Davis Cup coach last October. He had previously worked with Roger Federer and Marat Safin

lets hope that doesnt effect alex and the others, but its not good news.

quite a good set tho tbh from Alex, only 5 ues....Gucci only made 3 tho....his serve was just the deciding factor in the breaker plus he played two great pts on Alex's serve

Alex needs to up his returning level on Gucci's 2nd serve....not getting the return low enough atm...when he gets a look at a 2nd serve he has to make it count. Gucci has won 73% of 2nd serve pts atm
