Alex starts the week climbing three places to 105 , as Sanguinetti, Dlouhy and Stepanek defend points from last year (Alex only defends 5). Unfortunately, he loses one of those places immediately as Roger-Vasselin overtakes because he qualifies for Wimbledon. Alex at 106 on Monday morning.
So he's sitting on another potential career highest ranking: He'll almost certainly need to get points this week to keep it.
Where does Boggo go to if he wins tomorrow? Does that get him in the top 100?

As Bethan's a "little" bit busy dealing with the pick-em, I'll kick off a what-if:
Here's the round 1 possibilities: Alex is currently sitting at 107. His 25/6 ranking is 108.
If Alex wins today, he'll have 410 points (which I think is the first time he's been above 400).
He'll permanently overtake: Peya and Gaudio. He'll temporarily overtake: Brzezicki (plays in Reggio Emilia tomorrow), Udomchoke (plays Wimbles R2 tomorrow) He could overtake: Lu (plays Mirnyi), Roger-Vasselin (1-2 down against Jamie B, 1st set), Devilder (plays Zabaleta)
He can't be overtaken.
So, best case tonight is 100 Worst case tonight is 103
If Alex loses today, he'll still have 380 points He could be overtaken by: Tsonga(plays Benneteau),Dancevic(plays Koubek),De Voest(plays Safin),Sanguinetti(plays Del Potro) and Dlouhy(plays Delic).
So best case tonight, he stays at 107 Worst case tonight, he drops to 112

Unfortunately all those "What- if Boggo Wins" predictions can be put aside
Not as bad as it could have been: Only Tsonga and Dancevic overtake
(Ahem): Could we say that they've done a "Tsong' and Dance' Act" on our Boggo? (sorry - couldn't resit a pun like that!!)
De Voest, Sanguinetti and Dlouhy are knocked out.
So Alex is down just two to 109
Seppi advances to sit just behind Alex, just a win away from overtaking.: He plays Verdasco tomorrow. Pavel also advances to within a win: He plays Blake.

It was Carnage behind Boggo today: Obviously the Coven decided there was no point in knocking out Andy's competitors and stuck all their pins in down here
Pavel and Zib were both knocked out , but Hernych and Di Mauro also departed for good measure, leaving no threats behind Boggo until we go down as far as Wayne Arthurs, who's sitting at 144, and needs to reach the quarter final to overtake. Then there's Kiefer, who had no points before the week began, and so needs to reach the semis to overtake.
Dancevic is knocked out ahead. Tsonga makes the top 100.
Arthurs plays Bjorkman on Saturday. Kiefer plays Djokovic.
