Daydenko might not have been great on grass, but still top drawer, Guccione is more comfortable on grass, but Jamie's win will give Alex confidence, and though he is a big server, if Alex gets into any rallies he will win them, if he can make even just a little progress on Gucci's serve he'll take it comfortably, but it does have the look of a typical Boggo downfall about it a bit!!
this is the type of player that the press will assume boggo should slaughter, they wont nesecarily look at his record which isnt so bad. (wins over gicquel, del porto, gasquet, clemet, becker & rafa (by retirement) this year )
alex will defianlty need to find out how jamie got a 6-1 set off him! but Gucci bt bloomers and goodall at surbs, where bloomers bt Al in straights.
there is a lot of pressure on Alex at the moment, primairly generated by his performace v roddick. i just hope he can lock that way when he goes out to play.
btw have you guys checked out the weather forecast? wimby could be going indoors!!
